  1. ok, things may be different re a current a/c, depending on its circumstances. did they default it. (seems so, in which case the same wld apply. over 6 years since, happy days) wait see what the guys input also.
  2. as said, your stat rights are not affected! terms cannot override statute/law/eu law. they should know that. if you want to tell them then under reason maybe put 'under the consumer contracts regulations 2013'. then circle refund
  3. if its after 6 years since the default date with no payments/ack's - happy days. is it re a credit card? (ps, i know it shldn't go from the def date, but as has been seen some cruds do argue that. and its been in issue in the courts recently apparently)
  4. doesn't their returns form ask about why returning, and refund?
  5. your statutory rights are not affected
  6. agree. what is this issue about 12 years ago, 3k pounds for one year.
  7. Mansheik city apparently have now bid for him. shame, cause he's a quality forward player lfc could do with following coutinho gone. lfc missed out there.
  8. their procedure for complaints https://www.npower.com/home/help-and-support/contact-us/complaints/ if its still outstanding after 8 weeks following a complaint being registered, then it can be referred to the ombudsman without any deadlock letter.
  9. it's really good. thanks. for thread reference, the guide is here https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?481868-Credit-Reference-Agency-Guide-The-A-Z-of-Understanding-and-Managing-your-rating(1-Viewing)-nbsp&p=5067138#post5067138
  10. hi thanks just now having a look at your sticky cra guide.
  11. am not up to speed, which is seen as the best free credit file checker to use now. one that will also show basic searches etc. ie a full report. and without much spam after signing up. thanks
  12. seems as #2 then it does look something like that watchdog enquiry re over utilisation etc. maybe contact watchdog? maybe put in an escalated complaint to V. do V restrict vpn use. if that gets nowhere, maybe consider legal recourse not sure tbh. even on basic broadband there shouldn't be modem speeds of 68k
  13. and again v WBA. wasn't that VAR a drag. 2 decisions that a good confident ref should be getting right in the first place without recourse to big brother (eg player standing in front of the keeper (offside), and a shirt tug(pen), the other offside query seemed clear at the time as well(no offside)) can see it now; every VAR applicable incident will be referred, players, ref, fans, etc requesting. at least it will give time in game for the fans to go get a fat pie
  14. it seems a shame they got a ccj. hindsight i know, but if you had posted here when you got the claim... afaik, loyds were reprimanded for misleading using a defunct inhouse 'scm sols', letters etc there may have been issues with enforceability,...
  15. that doesn't look good, for a deemed 100 speed fibre cable connection direct to a house? 68k! how long were you on that speed for.
  16. witches not really a thought, more of a warning. worse than snakes.
  17. good luck with thompsons
  18. how about that. no pretence re any bridges. bridge it all. its a criminal offence. unless you're popular. what's it all about, alfie.
  19. ofgem stats q3 2017 'Complaints received by medium-sized suppliers per 100,000 customer accounts' - 'first utility '1,837'. more than the others in category apart from utilita
  20. just a general point; there can be a difference between just drafting (writing) a standard will on instruction (i could do that for you for free ), and actually being formally advised on and then drafting on what should or should not be in a will in someones particular circumstances. depends on the circumstances.
  21. thanks, i missed the pdf. re commission; 'Redress will be calculated as the excess commission over the 50% tipping point.' fca.
  22. see they have 'added back' an 50% re the 'guidelines'. what 'guidelines' state about 'adding back' 50 %, did the fca state that 50% shld be taken off where there was a deemed missell?
  23. ps who is the judgment holder under the inst order. seems then thewre isn't any suspension of warrant in place, and no applications have been made for a warrant.? if you want to, just pay £3 odd to whomever is entitled under the judgment/inst order (assuming there hasn't been any formal change of)
