if as you say the default issue wasn't adjudged on, then it should still be open.

have you tried the ICO (though they don't compensate an individual) if that works (ie they agree the default was in error), then maybe a separate action on that for the loss as a result? or a separate action on it anyway just a thought

seems then he acknowledged himself that the issue was perhaps beyond his scope, and that he may not of got it quite right? shame you didn't get the reserved J. are you thinking of appealing. keep in mind the timelines etc, and the poss costs risks, if thats what you decide to do

LLoyds PPI commission : Ombudsman
Ford replied to cleo4patra's topic in Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)
yep, thats why they all did the [problem], scratching each others backs. at the detriment of the consumer. at least they all got found out in the end. but, overall who's actually paying for them. the consumer. well done to fos for pointing to the commission- 10 replies

did he give permission without you asking? sometimes permission can be seen that the J thinks there is/maybe something in issue that needs a higher court to decide on? ie they think they may not have got it quite right. but again, costs risk!

tel recording is a must. they record calls, so why not us. if skint, can at least try a pc mic, put the landline phone on speakerphone, use win 7/8 'sound recorder' then there are smartphone apps if using a mobile.

formal missold ppi claim? even if sold on, it can still be claimed on via the original creditor. have a look at the fos form re ppi claims, see if you think you have a claim -
seems too near, they'll just be back next day. apparently needs to be at least around a mile away. like slugs.

you mention 30 days, so it seems a pap. see the link https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?481827-The-Pre-Action-Protocol-for-Debt-Claims-is-made-by-the-Master-of-the-Rolls-as-Head-of-Civil-Justice.-1st-Oct-2017

they're back, a couple nesting inside the padded recliner garden chair. 5 snapped so far..all recycled via the birds.
-
typical, reserved but then a different judge. i was concerned you might get stung for costs. at least they were capped. did the J say anything about appealing (though again, costs)

no idea. seems it would be for a court to decide in the circumstances. given the amount involved, and potential complexities, maybe see a solicitor.

generally, maybe a contribution to the purchase, and or any significant contributions to its improvement. you've probably seen a relevant HC case on it, as you know. maybe best bet is to instruct a solicitor

Arrow/Blake Morgan PAP letter re Halifax OD
Ford replied to patterns's topic in Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland
afair one dca (not yours) has sort of acknowledged in writing that an o/d after 2011 would be subject to a cca request re its required s61b agreement terms. which added to my view on it. -
true. the only blood was when the snap caught the little chaps head. the eye had half popped out with a bit of bloody goo there, and from the mouth. not much though.

do you have an ad/script/privacy type blocker on your browser. disable those, and you'll prob see the tube links posted up (i tried that on the '...listening to now' thread, and most then showed up)
