If any of you like me have found it impossible to get through to DG solicitors, I have obtained the direct line of Debbie Daubney. She is none to happy when you ring her, but in my opinion thats just tough luck. If you get her voice mail, do not leave a message, just ring back later.

Well - Jason was a very nice man - who has said that they will be applying for a stay and being as it is in September they are no where near that date yet.

 

I said well - I will just wait and see what the judge says about them applying for that and I will go from there.

 

Of which if granted, I shall be applying for a removal of.......

nooooo - let me see let me see.....this is great actually as being as I am away from 30th - 6th Sep, am concerned I will be away and miss any correspondance and therefore miss deadlines.

Have a think before you send it as your nudging your file to the top of the pile and getting the judge attention. You might want to wait until after our hearing on 24 Aug.

Dear All

 

I have just spoken to DG solicitors - Jason Newbold, who advised me that they are definately requesting a Stay for all claimants in Bromley County Court on 24th August.

 

Aside from the arguments against granting a stay, can we apply say on Tuesday for the defence to be struck out in view of their failure to supply documents within the prescribed 14 day time limit.

 

Also, any ideas on what arguments to present to the judge to convince him not to stay the case.

Hopeless. Did you see my letter. I went to the court today and gave them that letter and our court bundle.

 

My Judgement is being faxed or given to Bromley on Monday morning. I'll post my cover letter over the weekend.

Just called Debbie Daubney and she is "none to happy when you ring her". It seems that Jason Newborn is now dealing with the claims. I am guessing the senior people have got sick of this and delegated downwards.

Sorry to interrupt but had a letter from DG today to advise they will be requesting a stay for my court date 20th August.

Correct me if I am wrong but it is only the bank charges that are afected by the OFT test case and not the Credit card charges???
