E-mail sent today to Mr Bacon.

Dear Mr Bacon

Summons Number SC335/06

Return date = 18/10/06

Calling date = 25/10/06

Account number xxxxxxx

After receiving a letter explaining why you feel the amount of £585.67 is all you are willing to pay, I must draw your attention to the claim amount for £938.76.

I am happy to accept this initial amount as part payment and look forward to receiving the remainder of the balance of £353.09 either by cheque made to myself or by credit into my account.

I will not be informing the courts that this claim has been settled until the full amount is paid, As a matter of Respect to you position within your company I am willing to give you 5 days to have the funds in my account.

If I do not receive the funds within this time period I will have no other course than to file for judgement on the remaining balance.

With Regards

Mr Paul J Allan

Sounds fine - I know another poster got through to talk to Mr Bacon himself and some of the outstanding money has gone in.

Paul - I will ask a mod to change it for you.

Do you mind saying why your claim amount is so different? Please PM me if you don't want to put it on the boards. I am interested as it has happened to so many people now.
