Hi all,

After a successful claim against Halifax im now helping a friend with his claim against Barclays.

He's received a copy of his statements (looks like microfiche copys) but i cant find any charges on them. Theres periods where hes been overdrawn but theres still no charges listed. Would a charge appear as CHG ?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Additions fee is a valid service charge -- paid referral fee can be reclaimed

Hi Rob,

On my statements there was also Unauthorised O/D Fee and Unpaids Out. I think they changed the wording sometime in 2001.

Good luck with the claim

Hi Rob,

A lot of my charges were Account Control Fees (although mine was a small business a/c).

Good luck with your claim.
