yippeeeee, i think argos poo'd their pants.Just had a phone call of argos solicitors saying they wish to settle for the whole amount, of course without liability. Asking me if credit to account is ok(to make it easier for them.....no way!), or if i prefer a cheque (oh yes please!) .

My letter with the cheque is in the post today (at least that's what they said), and once i got it, could i please go and let the courts know. Well, i said, as soon as it's cleared just to make sure.

Thanks for all you peeps out there.Great site and great support.As soon as my cheque gets cleared i am off to court again with cahoot and studio!

Cheque received this morning. Bl***** Bank holiday weekend now, can't even cash it yet,LOL.

Well, at least they paid up, doesn't matter about a few more days now.

Just a little query:

Received cheque for the whole amount claimed and same day Argos entered a defence??What do i do now??Do i just email mcol customer service that i received full amount claimed, although the cheque ain't cleared yet?
