Hi Guys,

This reclaim thing has been going on for a while now (I'm not sure how long, maybe someone could enlighten me?) but has anyone acutally tried to fast track these claims, ie. skip a process or two?

Its just seems to me that because it has been going on for so long and people always (correct me if i'm wrong) get their money back, and never (again, correct me if i'm wrong) end up in court, and it is illegal for banks to charge this much, why people havn't said

"I want my money! I want it now! I will go to court if I have to, and you will LOSE!"

Is this what we are saying already but in a polite manner and over an extended period of time?

I hope some has some ideas of what we can do to speed up the process, my last reclaim took from August to February.

I will now hand over to you for your thoughts....

Thanks

Chris

Hey there, welcome. Believe me, Ive even been so blatant as to say that. It makes no difference. Natwest move at their own pace. And nothing we do or say makes them pay up any quicker. We have to follow the steps advised on here, i.e. prelim + 2 weeks then LBA + 2 weeks as you have to be seen by a court to be BEING FAIR about the time scales you give them to get back to you.

A good percentage of us have filed at court, and they just drag the process out. The courts are quite slow because they are so stuffed up with backlogs of these claims at the moment, the solicitors work slowly in order to drag it out, so there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to make them settle any quicker than they do. Its just called playing the game.

Cut corners and you're asking for trouble

Frustrating though the process is, if it works don't fix it.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right but also, 'there's always room for improvement'
