I shortened the text and made the font smaller on the 'scrolly text thing' (need a better name!)

Maybe it's something to do with my graphics. On-board on a notebook. For a while I've had to scroll to read Bankfodders posts, but everyone elses I don't-odd, his seem to be a bit wider than eveyone elses for some reason.

I just checked in IE and the gap between the left and right panel is twice as wide in IE than it is in Firefox...

You are right - posts with long urls in and wide text in them will tend to stretch the page width - I've found that on other forums...

Briefly it went so that I didn't have to scroll now it's gone back to having to. Must be time to move to Firefox.

There's a scroll bar but no need to scroll as the posts are fully visible now (in Firefox) - except for BF's posts of course!!
