So are we expecting a bank to take it all the way to court sooner or later? I thought this had never happened yet?

It is their right to do so. Yes - I would say that it was on the cards that they will. You are right that it has never happened yet.

But would it not be wiser for them just to refund the "limited" number of customers in the know, rather than risk losing and opening the floodgates?

We must be prepared. I for one am grateful for all the help I can get in case I@m the one they decide to face in court

You should write to your bank. Tell them that you are one of those people "in the know" and that if they repay you, you won't tell anyone else.

 

I am sure that it will do the trick :roll:

I have just submitted my court claim online and it's scary. But then I think it's only £688.00 (5% of which will be going to CAG!!) but it is mine and what do I have to lose??

 

Wish me luck. (PS hope I've done this thread thing right - I'm still not sure!!)
