Good audio typist needed for soundfile transcription please

We would like to transcribe the McNamara soundfile in the library.

Does anyone have good audio-typing skills or have access to someone with those skill who could do it for us?

Unfortunately, we do not have it on audio tape so that traditional dictaphone equipment could probably not be used.

 

We would be pleased t make this transcript available to any one wh is challenging their bank.

I wold be especially useful in a case against Lloyds as Peter McNamara was the ex-head of Personal banking at Lloyds when he gave the interview.

This is probably the best evidence that we have that Lloyds' charges are disproportionate penalties.

I have a copy of Dragon which seems to have the ability to transcribe from a WAV sound file. If that is what the recording is - if you send it to me happy to try it.

have converted it to WAV and Dragon is doing its bit.

 

might have to do a bit of work on it afterwards !

you train Dragon to recognise your own voice so it struggles when given anything else

 

if I was to do it again I would just re-speak it - that would be 99% correct

There is now a useful transcript of the McNamara inteview in the Library.

This transcript and sound file is especially useful in cases against Lloyds.

If you use it, please check the transcript against the sound file and let us know of any errors.
