Hello all, 

I brought my iPhone 13 Pro Max back in 25/11/21

Then a year later , around November 2022, 

the iPhone had a fault on it, the screen kept getting darker in 2/3 stages or flickering lower.

I took it too Apple to check it out, I was only there 5 mins and they turned off auto brightness settings. I reset the phone and restored from iCloud backup.

now coz of Covid and things going on, I let the warranty run out, and Carphone warehouse where I purchased the phone, only cover the year like Apple.

on the 13th July 2023, I spoke to Apple and explained what was happening and then booked it into Apple on 14 July 2023. I went to Apple, they said their test don’t show the fault, he's heard of the fault, and recommend I reset the phone and set up as new, and don’t restore from iCloud to stop this bug coming onto the phone again.

went home, connected to pc, and installed new software, and setup as a new phone.

now 4 hours into my day on 15th July , it started again. it did not work.

he also said, if you're not happy, you are well in your consumer rights, and I can write a report so you can give to curry’s to maybe refund or new phone.

the phone is only a year and 8 months old and still in contract.

now guys, can anyone help me on what I do next please.

if you purchased the phone from carphone warehouse what has this got to do with curry's?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

yes,

carphone warehouse are the same company,and carphone warehouse has slowly disappeared.

so you have to go into curry's now, and deal with any problems.

i dont know if you guys have a template letter that i could send them to get this fix under consumer rights act?

oh yea forgot that, been a while since we had a CPW thread.

forget warranties they mean nothing and dont over rule, remover or weaken your consumer rights.

its 18mts of so shouldn't be playing up repeatedly of a year?

get a copy of the apple report and get it into curry's with a request for a repair under your consumer rights.

there is not template but quite a few threads here.
