Hi!

I currently receive the enhanced Living and Mobility Elements of PIP and LCWRA (I am on Joint Couple UC with my wife who is 56 years old). I am about to reach my State Pension Age in a month's time which I have applied for and this has now been successfully processed by the DWP. Will my LCWRA automatically stop when I start receiving my Pension? My Enhanced Mobility PIP was reviewed last year and I was awarded "Ongoing until at least 2032".

Thank you for any assistance with my question, in advance.

Mixed age couple UC claim continues with existing entitlements, but the state pension, plus any other pension income will be deducted as other income.

UC will know how much state pension to deduct, but they won't know about any private pensions you might have, unless you have already told them.  So if you are also expecting private pension payments, then make sure you advise UC.
