Hi all.

I am new here and need some advice please.

My car insurance expired on 29/10/22. I fully intended to renew my insurance hence why I didn't SORN the car but I've had a back injury flare up for the past few months (started around late September time)  which has severely impacted my ability drive. To top it up, I have been unwell for 3 weeks and off work for 2 weeks with bronchitis. Resumed work this week 09/01/23.

I have received a letter today, 12/01/2023,  for 'Single Justice Procedure Notice' pertaining to being a registered keeper of an uninsured vehicle.
I have not received any letters prior to this.
What are my options?
I'm leaning towards: plead guilty and plead for mitigating circumstances and also point out that I didn't not receive an Insurance Advisory Letter?

Any advice would be appreciated.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
