Hi,

I have bought few radiators from an online retailer six years ago.

The paint is peeling off and they are rusting away - very ugly to see.

I contacted the seller with pictures and invoices/codes of my orders.

The supplier replied that "they want see a full invoice from who installed your radiators with all the work carried out in the invoice. This must be provided by a professional plumber".

I haven't yet found the plumbers' invoice (6 years ago!) - wondering who keeps paper invoices for plumbing jobs these days!

The Radiators are covered by 20 years warranty.

What if I cannot find the invoice - can I challenge the supplier to get a warranty cover?

Many thanks

there's your problem.

it's all very good having a warranty (but they are never worth the paper they are written on) .

the alternative is to get a professional report done that concludes the peeling paint is nothing to do with poor installation or wear and tear by dinks being made in the paintwork, then you'd be away home free with proving it was a manufacturers fault at time of making. i'e the surface was not cleaned properly before they were dipped i would assume. you would also get the cost of that report back too.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
