Hi could anyone give some advice please ,

i am currently isolating as i have tested positive for covid.

I have applied for an isolation payment but this has been rejected as my UC payment this month is Zero.

One month i get a UC payment , the next month i don't and so on. (this is due to my wage cycle).

As far as i'm concerned i have a current and valid UC claim so i believe i should get the isolation payment but the council say not.

Could anyone advise please.

Is this what you are referring to ?

Ask the Council for the terms under which you have been declined assistance.

We could do with some help from you.

They have said it is because my UC payment this cycle is nil

Did not see that stated in the terms.

Go back to the Council with the Government terms linked to and suggest they have made a mistake.

UC don't close claims when the earnings cycle is as you describe, because anyone in your situation would just re-open the claim each time they closed it.

We could do with some help from you.
