I tried this it does not do anything, they have one now with the official court stamp on and they still don't do anything.

Its just the case of waiting until you can apply for judgement by default.

But will they pay once you have won, I would assume so.

I await until the day after the 14days are up and will be entering judgement by default, I half expected them to make an offer to drop the case, but it seems as if they can not be bothered(or the desks are overflowing).

Though you can start your claim on a weekend, you add another week onto the claim it seems as it is not deemed to be served the the following weekend.

however it says the claim is served 5 days after they send it to the defendent.

I assume this means it nearer 19days that they have to acknowledge, yes ?

Where does it say this? I think that service on a company is deemed after 48 hours

copied from my 'notice of issue'

Your claim was issued on the 15th of feb 06

the court sent it to the defendant by first class post on the 15th of feb 06 and it will be deemed to be served on the 20th feb 06.

the defendant has until the 6th march 06 to reply.

so its 14days from service not issued, so thats 19 in all.
