Is it worth making an offer of 10% as full and final offer to NRAM?

I have been making monthly payments to NRAM for the last 12 years after a house repossession, payments ranging from £10.00 to £80.00 a month depending on my income. The mortgage and loan are in joint names with my ex partner and he currently pays nothing towards the debt and hasn't for years!

I am really hoping to make a full and final offer to have my name removed from the debt which is something NRAM have said they can do. I am hoping to offer £10,000 as a full and final, the total amount owing is £78,000 which will then be passed onto my ex.

Does anyone have any experience with full and final offers with NRAM, will I be wasting my time? I did make an offer of £4000 about 10 years ago which was refused.

Thanks in advance.

Who repo'd NRAM?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

So i will guess the loan was to make it an almost 100% mortgage.

sadly this is what nram and the likes did to people in that era.

and got blindsided to pay the shortfall after repo.

Anyway, you could send them an sar as i bet youve paid £1000's in unlawful charges like arrears/letters/debt visits/phone/its raining - your fault.
