  1. Sorry to bother you, again, with a stupid question: is there a discount to that £265.60 due to pay, or do I need to pay it entirely, in a one-off payment now? Thanks in advance, again, dx
  2. Thank you, dx. Unfortunately, I was in a messy situation, mentally, and I had to move to different places, then get treated - I was on medication, that was very bad for me, for a couple of good months. I presume all that's left for me to do now is pay this up, right? The full £265 amount. I did not have any other existing debt, ever - other than this PCN and the previous Ice Planet PCN, where you advised me to send them that funny letter. There was no action on their side for that one, as far as I am aware - could that transform into a CCJ as well, with all the mitigating circumstances I had...? Thank you, again, for everything.
  3. Thank you, to everyone. @dx100uk you are a star, as always, thank you, deeply. It seems there is a judgement passed on the 5th June. I have never seen/dealt with this before. I am really scared now. What can I do.... I am at work until 6pm today and I need to get back home and check every single letter. Capture.pdf
  4. I am currently at work, I will check all the letters I got yesterday - from the back of my mind, I can't recall seeing anything from the fleecers. I have, but I originally forgot to update it as soon as I moved and I updated it after ~1-1.5 months. It is my first ever car, and my first address move while having a car - I had no idea what the process is. I only updated my DL as soon as I moved.
  5. Dear fellow CAG lifesavers, I will start by thanking you deeply for all your help, advice and support offered throughout the times. I find myself, again, in a struggle with this damn PCN. I moved address 4 months ago, as a tenant. Yesterday, my previous landlord called me saying that there are some letters in my name still at the old address. One of them was this Claim Form... I have never dealt with this in my life, I am really scared this will affect my whole financial situation. Could you, please, advise on what I should do? It has been a long time since this was sent to the old address, as far as I can see on the Claim Form and I just found it yesterday. Please, tell me there is something that I could do, at least. Many thanks in advance, as usual and I hope you are all well and healthy! claimform 11-05-23.pdf
  6. You are angels, pure angels. You definitely deserve only the best of this world. Thank you Dave, LFI and dx!
  7. I found one of Dave's snotty letter templates (thank you, Dave!!) in a random thread - of course changing the information for my specific case, would it be okay? " Dear Will & John, cheers for your LETTER Before Claim. I rolled around on the floor in mirth at the idea you actually thought I'd take such tripe seriously and cough up! Now you know and I know and now you know that I know the million reasons why your country bumpkin client's invoice is total pants. It's no surprise that following simple legal instructions is a tad too difficult in the hamlets of Shropshire . On top of that the greedy retards have invented £70 Unicorn Food Tax and you've been telling porkies about solicitors' fees again. LETTER to the SAR in the post! Your client can either see sense or I will look forward to thrashing them in court, obtaining an unreasonable costs order under CPR 27.14(2)(g) and spending it on a nice foreign holiday while laughing at your client's expense. I look forward to your deafening silence. COPIED TO PARALLEL PARKING LTD" Also, given the circumstances addressed above (being an idiot and appealing to both POPLA and operator, before finding out CAG), could this get really messy and losing? These legal stuff makes me so anxious. Thank you for your quick reply, dx!
  8. Hi guys, I hope you are all well - It's me again. It seems a Letter Before Claim has just been sent to my address. After 10 months of non-stop debt collectors' letters, the time has come for this... It is related to the thread you have all helped me with. I will attach it below (I have anonymised all personal information, if I missed something, please flag it up). I need your thoughts, support and help, please. You are amazing human beings and I thank you for all the support you have given us, regular and inexperienced folks. I feel they just really exaggerate and prey on people. For such a small amount of extra time, and given the circumstances related to my partner's immediate health, they just take the p*ss and hope to make some £££ on our backs. Letter before claim.pdf
  9. Quick update: On PPP, I've been advised to post this at their address, what are your thoughts about it? Just asking for a second opinion, as I have no knowledge of these kind of laws. "Dear Sirs, I have received your Notice to Keeper xxxxx for vehicle VRM xxxx You have failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 namely, but not limited to, failing to give notice of keeper liability as prescribed by section 9 (2) (f) of the Act. You cannot, therefore, transfer liability for the alleged charge from the driver at the time to me, the keeper. There is no legal requirement to name the driver at the time and I will not be doing so. I do not expect to hear from you again, or your debt collectors, except to confirm that no further action will be taken on this matter and my personal details have been removed from your records. Yours etc"
  10. Dear lovely helpful people, You have helped my anxiety in the past with a parking charge and now, unfortunately, I have been charged again. This time, firstly, it was a sincere mistake - I have been shopping with my partner for more than the "allowed 3 hours (that I have not noticed while rushing to the shops)". We had to do a couple of returns, shop a lot for a new flat and the time just flew. Secondly, we are currently living in a shared house and the letters are randomly picked by either one of us or our housemates. I have just found this letter (parking charge) in a massive pile of letters that, I presume, one of my housemate placed under the stairs and forgot to mention it. I am so scared that the 14 days period has passed and now I need to fork out £100, money that I definitely do not have to give GroupNexus in these dire economic times. Please, advise if there is anything I could do. I will attach a photo of the charge below. Many thanks in advance! groupnexus ANPR PCN.pdf
  11. Hey there. Since then, they have raised the “ticket” price up to £240 and have sent me over 10-11 letters from the same headhunter agency saying I shouldn’t ignore and pay it within 7 days. Every letter says 7 days, really scary but I kept all of them and ignored as it seems to me there’s nothing they can do other than put anxiety and fear in people. Screw them.
  12. Hi everyone, I've been charged with a parking ticket from the council in a place where there were no signs whatsoever. Haven't crossed any double lines, no yellow lines, no signs, no machines to pay, nothing. I have challenged the PCN to the Council and they rejected stating that there are clear signs at the entrance on the street. It was my mistake that I haven't noticed the only sign that was not even in my line of sight and no reminders on the street that it is a resident-only parking street. Please, see it yourself @ https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.8746993,-0.4247964,3a,75y,77.44h,69.13t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sCJDwF1bFBP7eiVbtX0vAxw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192 My car was parked in the exact same spot where the Blue car is in the street view, in between those 2 vans. If you go behind the black van and go to the left, down the street, you will see there is a sign (I have just seen it recently and they uploaded a photo of it). On the sign that says "Resident parking past this point" going down behind the black van - on the same sign, on its back, it says the same, going upwards. Are there any other grounds to get this cancelled? Any grounds to re-appeal and get this over with? NB: I have not seen any photos submitted by the CEO in the parking charge form. "Thank you for your correspondence received concerning the above Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). After full consideration of all the circumstances I have to advise you that we are rejecting your challenge of the Penalty Charge Notice. The reasons for rejection are as follows: The notes made by the Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) at the time the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) was issued state clearly that your vehicle was seen parked in a residents parking zone Russel Rise parked without displaying a valid resident’s permit correctly during prescribed hours. The vehicle was observed from 14:26 hours to 14:31 hours and during this time the driver was not seen and the ticket was affixed to the windscreen at 14:29 hours. Drivers of vehicles parked in a resident permit bay are required to display their valid permit or ticket clearly so that it is visible from the front or the near side of the vehicle. Vehicles left in a parking place designated for permit holders only are required to display a valid permit in such a way that the details printed thereon are clearly visible from the front or the near side of the vehicle. In this case the restrictions were from Monday- Saturday, 8am- 6pm. In your appeal you stated that you were not aware of any restrictions in place for where your car was parked which was opposite 107 Russel Rise. You stated that there were no lines or signs, however I can confirm that there is a sign on entrance to Russell rise which clearly shows “Mon-Sat 8am-6pm resident permit holders only past this point”. Based on the evidence before me, I am satisfied that the contravention occurred and that the PCN was issued correctly. The onus is on the driver to ensure that the vehicle is left in accordance with the restrictions, by failing to do this you did not satisfy this requirement therefore I found no grounds to cancel this PCN." I'll just wait for your thoughts if there is anything I could do before the half-amount date is over (19/04/22). Many thanks in advance.
  13. You, guys, are just amazing - unbelievably helpful, kind souls. I appreciate all your help. I am just waiting to see if they will send a Letter in post. Is there a deadline for this, a period in which they are supposed to sue if they want, and if if goes over, unmentioned,, this will be forgotten? I thank you, all, again, from the bottom of my heart.
