Notice of Assignment letter from Vanquis dated 11th April 2022.

States Sold to Lowell Portfolio on 30th March 2022.

I will keep checking my Credit File for change of details.

 

And many thanks dx and of course I will send a CCA to the DCA concerned as soon as possible.

 

I will also await SAR details from Vanquis previously sent 14th April 2022.

I'd expect your credit file to be updated very soon in that case, mine took between 40-60ish days across all accounts.

Hi Badtimes file updated today showing Lowell's Financial Ltd now.

 

Default showing as January 2018.

 

Still awaiting details to the above from Vanquis as per my GDPR /Subject Access Request.

 

I have also requested COMMS Log to be included.

 

CCA request letter typed up and will be sending to DCA tomorrow with £1 postal order.

 

Is there anything else I need to do?

Wow, timely update to Credit File! ha, at least we can be sure now what has happened to the account :)

 

Default date is also good news - 2/3's the way to being removed entirely from your record

 

Nothing else I can see, except perhaps get yourself a folder so you can file all existing and future correspondence as this moves along - It will help in the future

A default is removed from Credit file after 6 years, I just meant you were two thirds of the way there! 4 years since default, 2 years remaining.

Just an update.

 

CCA sent to Lowell's 17th May 2022 with £1 postal order - Still awaiting reply.

 

Today I have received a reply from Vanquis in respect of my GDPR / SAR .

 

Request for statements declined unless I pay £5 for each? They have sent a printed copy of account statement but I wanted to check for charges on the account. They also declined request for telephone conversation details apart from supplying some notes.

 

They have also sent the following:

1) 2 screen pages of a Digital Signature Application under my old account number (no signature). 

2) Detailed copy of transactions which include various billed finance and deferred charges.

3)Telephone file notes but majority I do not remember receiving and seems that they were contacting an incorrect number? These include limit increases that      went from £1,000 to £3,000

4)Customer Notes & key to Abbreviations

5) Various copies of letters (not letter headed) in which majority I never received

6) A bad copy of Notice of Default dated 22nd September, 2017 with a photocopy of terms & conditions / Credit Card Agreement details with my printed name next to Signed by? also dated 21st November 2013. Again I cannot remember or locate receiving the original.  

 

Is there anything else I should have received and is that correct regarding full statements?

 

I cannot find anything regarding APR being paid on the account or whether it has increased from date of purchase?

 

Just a recap account appears as defaulted 30/01/18 on my Credit File.

Notice of default letter dated 22/9/17

Notice of Sums in Arrears letter dated 15/11/17. 

 

Account number was changed in November 2014 due to what looks like fraud on the account but no letter details enclosed explaining this?

 

Any further comments would be appreciated as to what to do next. 

 

 

And should APR % be shown on statements?

All I can find on a couple of old ones is only monthly %?

 

Should I also receive Annual Statements? No details amongst SAR.

Hi Baz,

 

Based on your comments on  what you have received it would be worthwhile uploading them for us to see, redact all identifiable info such as acc number and name etc

 

Follow the upload guide carefully

 

Then if/when you get the CCA response, do the same, we can compare a number of those documents because Vanquis should have supplied originals

Thank-you both for your time and comments.

 

I will try and scan / redact details tomorrow as got to go to work soon.

 

Having trouble with scanner at moment but if ok quite happy to DM details if need be.

 

Dx - Yeah regarding statements I thought that was normal to supply everything as per Subject Access Request? Should I go back to Vanquis to state this?

No rush Baz, try to fix scanner :) there are other options but there's no urgency in uploading.

 

SAR should indeed contain everything, you could politely (or not) remind them they are in breach of the GDPR regulation and the ICO would be interested in such cases, as you stated in your original letter, they are obliged to provide EVERYTHING

Sorry for delay but had family things all weekend.

 

Anyway will try and upload details again via Scanner if can fix it but managed to do something via my mobile.

 

In the meantime I today (30th May, 2022) received the attached from Lowell (dated 20th May 2022) in response to my CCA Request to the DCA on 17th May, 2022.

 

Is it 12 days plus 1 for them to respond accordingly?

its 12+2 working days

but thats immaterial as such.

until they comply with enforceable paperwork that we check, you ignore them and pay nowt.

Well I tried dx but does not seem to beAdobe Scan 30 May 2022 (7).pdfworking.

 

I will give another try later with any other details part of the GDPR and leave these here for now. .

 

In the meantime please see attached Notice of Default details in which I do not remember receiving and rather a bad copy they have sent.

 

Also the 1st and last pages of credit card agreement attached where my name was printed on 21/11/13. 

 

I cannot find anything further relating to what APR% was applied as looking at the agreement details there are various?
