Egregious part was the PO knew the system was at fault and prosecuted on a falsehood, some of those gaffers should go to jail, but sadly they won't. Just hope they compensate the wrongly convicted Postmaster's. Sadly won't help those who died before they could be cleared.

They initiated prosecutions in full knowledge the system not the Postmasters was causing spurious discrepancies, the evidence was wrong it amounted virtually to perjury.  The execs should go on trial who were involved and carried on the prosecutions

Not before time, the Post Office Executives that condoned and implemented the prosecutions on dodgy evidence from a borked IT system  should go to jail.

Money doesn't make up for all the ruined lives and collateral damage springing from the scandal, nor comfort those who were not cleared before they died.  The Executives in charge who drove the prosecutions even when it was known Horizon was seriously borked, should go to jail.  Maybe Conspiracy to Pervert The Course of Justice or some such suitable?

Needs the gaffer's to be prosecuted for various things, pushing prosecutions in full knowledgr Horizon was seriously borked, and unreliable is tantamount to Perverting The Course Of Justice, perjury might also be a charge, and also potential Conspiracy.  Of course it will be a whitewash and the guilty gaffer's slink off with their pensions and golden handshakes untouched.

At last, Senior Post Office officials belonga jail. The evidence used in many if not all the prosecutions of Postmaster's was perjerous, as they knew that Horizon was prima facie borked.
