I paid the deposit on a holiday park break by credit card, the balance being due in 10 days. The break is for late June this year.

I have some doubts the park will be able to offer full access to their facilities to include entertainment centre, bar, swimming pools and restaurant given the effects of Covid 19.

What should I be doing once the operator requests the balance and would appreciate your advice. Thank you in anticipation.

  • dx100uk changed the title to I paid the deposit on a holiday park break by credit card, the balance being due in 10 days.

I believe under section 75 of the CCA as the CC company is equally liable, you can raise a claim with them.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
