Hi all

I have been speaking to lowell as I had a couple of debts with them and due to my situation they said they are closing my accounts but they will still keep reporting the defaults to the CRA,s
today I got a letter confirming they have closed the accounts and the balance is zero
question is can they keep on reporting the defaults so it effects my credit file

thank you

And merry xmas to you all

Yes - Same situation here... They are entitled to do so.

You wont beable to challenge this.

Just consider it this way - They have closed them off and you no longer owe the balances.

We could do with some help from you.

to keep reporting to the credit file in the calendar section doesn't hurt your score at all

the debt already has a defaulted date? in the summary so will drop off the debt list on its 6th birthday

hope you aren't using the phone?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
