Hi

Hope someone can advice. Underground pipe leak led to   damage. Used insurers contractors. Solid wood flooring started to fail within a few weeks. Complained to ombudsman found in my favour eventually.

Am going for cash settlement as I would not allow insurers contractors back in my house.

Advice on form sent by ombudsman please attached.

Ombudsman decision only mentions one room when infact 4 rooms need flooring replaced.

I don't believe that Zurich will accept ombudsman decision and I don't want to jeopardise future court proceedings by signing this.

Thanks

Agree. Do not sign anything. a finding against the insurer is more than enough to begin a very effective claim against them in the courts.
