Per Chancellor Hammond:

"We have over three million European migrants working in our economy and we have full employment. So clearly we need people to come and work in our economy to keep it functioning"

in response to

suggestion that “the impression on the European continent is that your government sees the future business model of the UK as being the tax haven of Europe”.

Whatever the government might be saying, they will have to deal with practical challenges they have no choice over. Outside the single market and paying tariffs for EU trade will have massive consequences on UK farmers who sell produce to the EU. Also UK farmers employ many from mainland EU for seasonal crop picking.

I doubt many pensioners will be very happy paying much higher prices for their food shopping after Brexit. Once they realise cost of Brexit, they will be asking Government to stop proceeding with Brexit.

We could do with some help from you.

But it will be too late then. All through the negotiations we could still have pretty much all the benefits - apart from the total lack of faith in the UK as a business we are already starting to see (falling pound, increased prices/inflation etc)

So all this is nothing compared to what will be when we actually leave - and of course its too late to change our minds then.

Dont forget that Tax Havens are only good for Tax avoiders and the limited number of people making a (often very limited for 'servants') living from the Tax avoiders.

Dont forget their reason for being somewhere is that they KEEP their money.
