Hi there.

I have been working hard to get my debts paid off for a few years now. I

decided to check my credit report with the CRAs.

I have noticed a default from 2011 on an MBNA account.

This was previously defaulted in 2006 and the 2011 entry seems to be for around the time

the original default would have been due to drop off my file.

I only have one payment left to make for around £17 at the beginning of June.

My question is should I dispute the 2nd default as surely this shouldn't be allowed.

I don't have the original letter of default from 2006

nor do I have my credit report from this time

or while the original default was on my report.

Thanks in advance.

There should only be one default, if you never resolved the first default in 2006.

You would have to get hold of the original default information and then make a complaint

with whoever is noted against this second default.

You could just register a complaint with credit reference agencies,

but they might just point you in the direction ot the DCA who has the current second default registered.

We could do with some help from you.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Perfect, thanks I will get on to it. I can't figure out whether it's MBNA or Arrow Global that I go to but I think the originator was MBNA. Will go to them first. Do I just send a letter to them?

Thanks again
