Hi,

Do you know what these numbers mean on my credit file. I hope it is statue barred?

The numbers for each year and month starting from January ( Mobile phone company ).

2009: 39 0 63 0 89 0 40 35 0 25 0 0

2010: 46 74 112 129 221 221 221 221 221 221 221 221

2011, 2012,2013, until Mach 2014 show £221 for each month then the information disappeared. I have the above printed on paper in 2014 just before it disappeared.

I am sure I stopped paying in some point in the end of 2009 or 2010.

Can you please look at the above numbers? Is it statue barred?

In October 2014 The same debt appeared under DCA- showing £221 for each month since November 2014 to date.

looks like the account balance for that particular month?

May 2010 £221 + 1 due month = 5 years scotland = Barred Rest UK barred next May ?/ i.e. 6 years if no acknowledgment made during that time?

sure somebody will confirm but think I am right?

If payments are shown up until 2014, then either someone is incorrectly reporting or making payments to the account ?

You need 6 clear years + at least a couple of months (where no payment or acknowledgment has been made) in order to consider a debt statute barred

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I am quite sure I stopped paying earlier than May 2010.

Letters showing for 2010: Jan-OK, Feb-OK, March-AA, Apr-AA, May- BB, June- defaulted.

What do AA and BB mean?

No I have not acknowledged it but I received email from DCA in 2014 telling me they wrote to me but their letters returned back to them. I never responded.

Payments are not showing : The account has been in default since 2010. £221 is the balance history, no payments have been made since end of 2009 or beginning of 2010. I just don't understand the balance numbers for Jan and Feb 2010...
