This is a spam, (change the p to a c), email with an attachment. On no account open the attachment, it contains a Virus

 

You will know if you have any court appearance due or have done anything wrong and got a summons or even a divorce or custody battle. You will never ever receive an email like this to notify you. It is not addressed to a person but to Conniff and that would never be done.

Had this email many times, I just delete them!

Regularly get spam with attachments. If there is any suspicion that it is legit, I upload the attachment to an online virus scanner for an informed opinion. But then again, if the Reply-To and From headers do not match, it will be bogus.

Bogus HMRC tax refund emails with virus attachment doing the rounds also.

Had one today supposedly from HMRC saying I was owed a tax refund but they couldnt process it as my details were wrong! It even had a notice in red at the bottom saying it wasn't a spam message and that HMRC_taxrefund .co.uk belongs to HMRC. gov.uk!

Had a spoof paypal phishing email today

I've had the Paypal one, went to my normal email and not my Paypal email account - these spoof viruses are very annoying, as fast as I run a check somebody comes up with a way round it - and my spam filters.

 

Smarteranimals emails are my bugbear at the moment, can't seem to get rid of them and unsubscribing seems to give them 10 days to send 8 emails a day to you.

I also keep getting the paypal one in both my spam and normal e-mail, I do not have a pay pal account so never open them
