Hmmm ive listened to it all the way through....

I agree with hounding you comment was a bit too far, however he is trying to just say you are already aware of this.

 

Also the story quoted, as DX says, it doesnt necessarily suggest it was BH staff.

 

I dont see a massive issue with what they were doing, they were mainly reading their T&Cs

 

We could do with some help from you.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

listened to the whole thing.

 

 

ok near the knuckle esp the repo bit under 1/3rd

but doesn't say they do do this, just threatens

that other staff will not mess around if they get involved.

 

 

IMHO nothing unusual there TBH.

I feel it's only fair I provide a fair update.

 

Since disclosing the clip less than 72 hours ago this has been resolved more than satisfactory.

 

I suppose I didn't allow them enough time for a thorough investigation however the blackmail comment did flare up the situation.

 

The senior staff at Brighthouse have reassured me they do have morals and have aceepted this rogue clip and promptly implemented new procedures.

 

I must thank Gary MCKENZIE and Grace customer relations as they have been my two customer facing contacts.

 

This I belive is an isolated incident, and they accept of the initial issue was dealt with we wouldn't be here.

 

They have spent over 30 minutes dissuading each aspect the complaint.

 

And also an apology from their CEO was communicated.

Dont kid yourself. The reason they started bending over backwards was because you started to make this public, and they are afraid of the mass of potential lawsuits that would happen when other people find out it wasnt just them it happened to.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..
