Afternoon

Parked in a Total Car Park over the weekend.

Paid for Friday, paid for Sat, forgot Sunday. When I was given a ticket.

Sunday is charged at £3 for the whole day.

Ticket says fine £100 but £30 payable in 7 days.

Suggestions on what to do?

Tempted to pay £3 as that is what it would have cost me to park there for Sunday.

My respect to people who post regularly and help people out on here. Without your help alot of wrongs would have been committed.

Hi. Sorry you were missed.

You say this was a ticket? was it a windscreen ticket?

If yes, do nothing as yet. Wait for the Notice to Keeper to arrive. Do not identify the driver and then send your appeal to them. Highly likely they will reject your appeal but that is not a problem. When they reject you, they should offer a POPLA code. This is when the full appeal goes in and we can help with that one.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

TCP have to wait 28 days before they can contact the DVLA for the registered keeper details.

They then have another 28 days to send the Notice To Keeper. This is what will be responded to.

But the response depends on if they have followed the correct procedure.

You have time to read up on the PPC industry, before your next move...

You received the NTK between 29-56 days of the NTD then?

How was your appeal worded, and did you get proof of postage?

After this much time with no reply then the correct procedure has not been followed...

But you may get a worthless debt collector letter out of the blue though.

King100,

aramadillo71 is correct.

You have followed the correct procedure. .... They failed to reject your appeal and provide you with a valid POPLA code.

That means they (the PPC) can only "chase" the driver.

As they do not know who the "driver" is. The PPC has no one to "chase".

They are at a "dead end". .... No options left for them.

DCA letters might arrive but as per above advice... Ignore.

Keep your paper work safe. .... Just in case !!! If you catch my drift.

You "win" by default. Happy Days :-) :-) :-)
