My neighbour has paid for an 'H Bar' outside her property (with a dropped kerb) for access to her hard stand.

I have no issue with that as I wouldn't block someone's access.

My problem is that the 'H Bar' extends right across to the front of my property.

I don't have a hard stand so have to park on the street.

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac, but I have to park slightly down from the entrance to my property,

which is annoying when carrying heavy shopping etc.

Is this 'H Bar' legal or should it just be outside her property only?

White H bars are generally advisory only and not enforceable, other than parking across the dropped kerb section.

It may be that the council have extended beyond the crossover if, say the road is narrow and access to the drive is difficult without a wider H bar.
