Had no clue where to post this.

Anyway through the door this morning debt letter come for 200 pound.

From virgin media/debt handed to some company. i actually forgot about this debt.the debt was about 7 years ago now they must of traced me.

Am i right in saying debts go away after 6 years or something?

I actually have virgin media services in my new property but nothing ever said.

sb'd then

silly dca chancing their arm

to see if they can spoof a mug into paying.

as you have a running account

and I suspect this is not?

on your credit file

its safe to ignore them.

only the owner of a debt can do court anyhow

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

No i had virgin media 7 years ago in my old house.than i recently got virgin media again about 7 months ago in my current house because i forgot about the old debt.

My account is up and running and am guessing they don't care about this because i ring up every week complaining about my services and nothing is ever mentioned about an old debt from 7 years ago,but the letter come today form some company mentioning about the debt from VM which was 7 years ago.

Am just abit worried now virgin could stop my current services my my old old debt has flagged up
