Wonga To McKenzie Hall

Hi guys,

 

1st post here, although i've been reading as a guest for what seems an age.

 

Basically, around 2011, I got into the circle of using payday loan companies, mostly work related because of a reduction in hours....i'm free now though!

 

My query however, is this...My final outstanding loan is with Wonga. They 'legally' sold this to MH. Wonga's default is still on my credit file, surely this should be in MH's name, should it not?

It will. But cras update their files at different times.

Thanks for the reply! They're taking their time then, it's been the same for about 2 years!

Are you sure it was actually sold? Files normally update when the new owner gives them the info.

Yeah, it's definitely been sold on. When I log onto the Wonga account, i'm greeted by a message stating that's been sold to MH and that Wonga legally do not own it anymore. I also had the usual letters off MH

You must make contact with the data controller of MH if you want this file updated to show their details.

My guess is that with MH being "swallowed" up there may have been many things that have been missed admin wise.

Wonga retain the account normally and Mucky Hall attempt to extract every last penny out of you! ^__^

Ive found this in the past with mine, a Wonga Loan from 3 years ago?... Still under Wonga, Mack Hall havent done jack with it.
