If I left a job with no fixed term for another job (either agency or direct employment) with a fixed term contract and at the end of the latter I claimed JSA, would the DWP have a case in thinking I am making myself intentionally unemployed?

Thanks

I guess it depends on how long that fixed term employment was. If it was only a month or two, then possibly yes. If it was a year or so, then no.

As a general rule, JSA only considers the reason why you left your last job. So you'd probably be OK.
