What does my letter mean?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me? I have received a letter this morning regarding my sons child support. it says they have looked at my case again and there is no change to his maintenance.

 

I contacted agency as I have not had contact with them for a long time and thought this had been sent in error. It is something regarding my ex and they wont tell me anything. I understand data protection and all, and I have no contact with him so no idea as to what is what. I know it hasnt been reassessed.

 

Theres a part of the letter I dont understand. It says

 

'This is because, under child support law,the ground (or grounds) for changing the amount of child maintenance wasn't Just and Equitable. That is, it wasn't fair and reasonable to everyone involved.'

 

Does anyone know what that means, and what sort of changes would produce this letter? I know he has a child living with him and his wife, and I also know there are no other children that have perhaps recently been born etc.

 

Its confused me a lot, and I seem to be getting nowhere with the CSA.

I would guess that your ex has asked for the case to be reassessed and been told there is no reason for the CSA to do so.

yes i know what you mean i am having a hard time just getting them to listern or do some thing and its alway her side they listren to most and when i been ahead on payments they seem to say we have back dated your payments 2 years and found you not paid the right amont so its all gone again but if i wanted something done we cant back date that we all need to get together and tell the goverment fair is fair we need fair rules not one sided rules i not even working and been told to pay 3000 dollers and then i will have to pay 32.50 a month i stay with mu brother as i lost my job we need to tell this goverment make it fair and sack those halfwits in csa as they are usless dont care so how about if all of us fathers get together and tell the goverment
