Hi all,

After some advice here. A racing pigeon (has a red ring on each leg) has decided to make my garage roof it's home. It's been here since at least 6am. It doesn't look to be hurt, and enquiries I've made suggest it could be worn out/hungry/thirsty. I've put food and water out for it (I feed the wild birds anyway).

Any advise on what I should do if it's still here tomorrow? I've called the local vets and they've advised the same thing, and I spoke to the Racing Pigeon Society and they concurred.

Any pigeon racers out there offer advice?

if its really late going home then the owner will probably get rid of it so just feed it and hope it goes wild. because its no good for racing now, alternativley if you can catch it phone the rpra again for the owners tel number.

If I have been of any help, please click on my star and let me know, thank you.
