I sent my 1st letter asking for £800 in charges to be returned to me with 14 days on Tuesday 18th April. Today i had a letter from them saying "Thankyou for your recent letter about charges incurred on your FlexAccount. Charges are made in accorance with the terms & conditions etc etc"

It then goes on to say " I hope that this has helped to clarify our position & you will appreciate why I am unable to refund any charges to your account".

What is my next step for getting my money back? Do I need to wait until the 14 days are up? Also are the 14 days working days or just two weeks?

Any help would begreatly appreciated.

Should the template letters include something along the lines of "please don't just refer to the T&C of the account. The presence of a term in the T&C does not make it valid or enforceable. In fact these charges are unlawful so their presence in the T&C is irrelevent"

This might, (perhaps, I'm an optimist!) deter the standard replies?

Hi guys,

I sent my LBA letter back to Nationwide on the 25th April directly into their letter box. I have just come back from holiday & haven't heard anything since. What is my next step?

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I am about to put forward a claim for around £800 as Nationwide have basically said i I have no chance of getting any money back from them. The problem is I have recently had a couple more charges added to the list. Can I just add these to the total they owe me or do I need to send another letter to Nationwide asking for these charges to be refunded before I can go ahead with the court proceedings?
