Hello, I am on the verge of cancelling my debit card with my bank for a number of reasons and I was thinking of a prepaid card.

I would only use my card for occasional online shopping (mainly Amazon). I need a card that I can load manually with cash at some office and ideally charge me no fees.

I have looked on the MSE comparison site, they all seem to charge a fee if you load the card at the Post Office.

Has anybody one of these cards and would you recommend them? Thank you

CashPlus charges a monthly fee - does not charge to top up at the Post office or you can make online transfers for free. There is a charge of £3.00 I think if you top up at other top up points.

Neteller also do a card.

You can top up your Neteller card using Ukash vouchers which can be purchased at any shop that uses payzone or paypoint.

You buy a Ukash voucher for £10, (or whatever amount you want) and enter the 19 digit number onto your Neteller account and the exact amount goes onto your Neteller visa card.

As far as I'm aware there's only a 1.75% fee which is a few pence only per transaction.

You can top of your Neteller account in various different ways.

I've been using it for years without problem.

Hope this helps.

Regards
