Hello i'm new here, just joined actually,

i have a debt of £69 where i have been receiving letters and phone calls from Iqor demanding i pay.

now after having no acknowledgement why i need to pay for this or what i'd done i researched a little on my eBay.

won't go into details but i sold something for £69, he then messaged me saying he doesn't want it so he charged back via Paypal

now i'm limited on Paypal eBay etc so i just left it no harm done.

i'm still getting letters and phone calls and i have received one today saying they're coming to my doorstep to collect this £69

baring in mind i'm only 17 so all this is really confusing and just want abit more knowledge really

Thanks alot!

IQOR as not BAIIFFS

they have no such LEGAL POWERS.

so have you the item?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Don't you have to be 18 to have an Ebay or Paypal account? Don't think you can have either without confirming you are 'of age'. I'd guess this is because they can't chase you for anything if you're only 17.

Tell them you are only 17 and also tell them that there is no enforceable contract or debt and if they continue they will be reported to the DTI and other authorities. Also tell them that any doorstep visit will by necessity be by appointment and they arent getting one so if they turn up they will be reported to the police under the breach of the peace act. If they do turn up, do phone the police and tell them that you are a minor and being threatened by these people.

Did the person who did the chargeback return the item? If not you should seek advice as to how to recover the monies for it from the purchaser. An adult can act on your authority to do this.
