My wife and I bought a Victoria Snuggle suite from these people. Problems from day one. Iv'e had it nearly 3yrs now and have been waiting 10 months for a replacement chair. They sent me one on Tuesday and this one has been bodged up. It's got a cut in the back and hole in the arm. The actual cusion doesn't even fit on the base properly.Nearly £450 in OSC for this CRAP service.

We have been encouraging people to reclaim any premiums they have made into this Insurance.

Hi Johnpaul

Cancel their useless covers NOW, you DO NOT need it.

The only person to gain from these covers are Brighthouse.

Send a letter giving them seven days notice, there is a very good template letter on the site for you to use. Then reclaim what you have paid in OSC.

Your chair or any other goods you have with them are covered by "The Sales of Goods Act 1973"

Stand your ground and do not let them intimidate you.

Good Luck.

there you go

cant advise better

get the whole lots back

and if you can prove you've had issues from day one

by letters to them

i would hit them with a soga claim too!

http://www.oft.gov.uk/business-advice/treating-customers-fairly/sogahome/forcustomers

infact i cant see why you should not have it totally replaced or even your money back

dont forget the other insurance too. [DLC]

there are NO COMPULSORY insurances that you must have with a an HP agreement

esp if you've got house ins too.

hi just so you know

you're not covered by the sale of goods act for hire purchase

its the supply of goods act its slighty different

and most items you're covered for up to 6 years or longer if your still paying for your items.

trading standards told me this

got to get it right or these companys know you don.t know what your talking about.

when i contacted them about bh they told me i.m not covered under sales if goods act its called supply of goods act as its hire purchase so i looked up the difference and it is right supply of goods does state about hire purchase items and i.ve not read anything under sales of goods act about hire purchase and your rights. its on the goverment sites and also financial ambudsman and citizen advice will also tell you same thing. if you think about it your renting the goods until paid you.ve not gone into a shop and purchased it straight away.any hired purchased item is covered by supply of goods act its only slight different .
