I have a mobile contract with orange it isn't due to end till oct this year. The past 6 weeks on and off I will have a liitle phone with a line through it symbol and it will say 'limited service'. For that read no service - people cannot phone me and I cannot phone them. It has got worse and worse to the point where it has now been constant the past 4 days. I wouldn't mind but my phone shows excellent reception. I am going to phone them tomorrow but I want to know if I can get out of my contract because of this. I am paying for a service that I am not getting. Does anyone know where I stand on this? I want some consumer law to quote at them for when they start with the usual c#*p that I have come to expect from Orange.

Not sure of any exact law but read through the contract, it may have a clause where it says the service may interrupted and it is outside of their control. If they do say that then note down the percentage of time (even a guess) that you have no service and throw that at them.

Also tell them that it is not normal behaviour to have your service that you pay for in ADVANCE restricted. See how you get on in your phone call, to be honest I'm surprised you've left it 6 weeks! I would have been goin mad after 1 week! LOL! :)
