Nao.

You seem to have been delving deep.As I was working a night shift,I did not have the chance to do any searching.

Mr Nazareth seems to have had a colourful past.

Adaptive Affinity seems to be a company worth watching.

Well, I don't have access to everyone's Banks statements, so I don't know who paid what unless they put the info in public somewhere.:-)

Just for fun, I've found some more connections, this time to another industry through company names like XPLICIT PRODUCTIONS LIMITED and LIBIDO VIDEO LTD, yes, Jonathan Weinstock who was involved with CIM was involved in the adult industry.

Theyre either moving the website to other servers or redoing them. I wouldnt get your hopes up of them being gone.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

They wont be redoing them, as they'd have a holding page. Same for if they were moving them, they'd keep the old domain for a short time to redirect people to the new one. I suspect the server's c**ped itself or something even more fun

The server in Finland on which the speedcredit webpage is run, is responding perfectly well. That can only mean they have taken the website down themselves.

As this was done on a Friday, Gordon Reykdal and colleagues are probably already on their way back home to Finland or more probably further afield to Canada, where they run similar companies. Canada should be save enough to avoid paying 580,000.00 GBP :-)

Nah. They dont need a holding page. SC, TF and the other companies have changed hosts a good few times so far, and each time you just get an access denied message, or a standard browser " DNS failed to resolve" message.

Has anyone seen this in Credit Today, apparently the OFT are actually visiting the so called offices of the payday loan companies (and NO, OFT spokesperson, Payday loans are NOT the way forward for the less financially viable people)

http://www.credittoday.co.uk/article/14428/online-news/oft-cracks-down-on-payday-lenders-with-property-searches

By property searches they mean that they are visitng the offices (actual offices) of the industry. I wonder how many they have found to be left wanting!

I would wait for now as we have no idea what is actually happening.

I second renegadeimps suggestion, wait for now, the other account may not even belong to them, it might be something to do with the credit card Capital One, and then you would be stuck.

Keep the money to one side as 'proof of intention to pay' should anyone come chasing.

You could of course ring the OFT and ask their advice.

Hi j862 just ignore it. It's a normal threat letter they use to try and scare you. Just keep hold of the money until there is a way of actually paying them. THey cant and wont do anything to you. They might try and add on charges, but just ignore them as they cannot be enforced.

Don't worry, all you owe at most is original loan plus 1 month interest plus inital default fee minus any payment already made, no matter how many thousand pound they try to claim.

Plus passing it on to a 3rd party just means they will put a different one of their many names under future emails and texts, so nothing to worry about.

is there anything i can quote to them to say that they are breaking the law on this one? Surely they'd just tell me to contact PDE - who said they'd just take it off next month's payment - however they have left me short this month by stealing an extra £50 out of my account - their attitude last time was that i owe these companies money so in reality they aren't stealing my money and that basically there was nothing i could do to get the money back :-(

I take it now their web site is working they will pile on the demands for repayment

Hey rippoff no there site is still down. I'm due a repayment on the 19th which they extended for me for a further 2 weeks which was generous of them without me knowing lol.. I have previously taken a loan with them before for 2 weeks to which they state "if you wish to extend the loan you needn't do nothing and we will add the interest on top" a day after the so called we will extend it, I get an Email saying your loan is now overdue pay the full balance now to stop charges and interest adding to the loan etc..
