Hi guys,

I posted a few days ago with problems about Natwest refusing to cancel my CPA's and telling me the PDL's are not using CPA ect. Anyway i have now made an official complain thru the FOS, but after everything i told them on the phone they basically sent the Bank a 3 line summary of my complaint and everything i had said.

Luckily the FOS letter sent to me gave me details of who is dealing with my complaint at Natwest so i have wrote a full 2 page letter explaining what happened in the branch in detail and im sending it off today.

i will be keeping you all updated and hopefully get some results. I ended up being forced to cancel my account with natwest and it seems even tho i had a second account with them that i transferred my money in to it has successfully stopped the PDL's getting access to my money.

i will keep you informed. Thanks to this site and members or none of this would have been possible and i would have been totally cleared out this week.

well atleast natwest are not letting payments be taken out of my other account with them so that is something i guess. Just had my first calls from PDUK and PDE, first time i have ever dealt with people calling up from these companies.

I can see how people would be intimidated and give in to their demands ect and also saying what they are able to do. Thanks to the info here i decided to answer the calls and talk to them for educational purposes, at one point i had both of them silent on the other end as they didnt know what to say, it was empowering.

not quite what i was expecting to be honest, i dont know if its standard for them to start like this or they are on best behavior due to PDL's getting a bit more heat recently. I would like to think its because of my phonecall with them when i made it clear i knew what they can and cant do. Who knows.
