It should have been there by friday. Check your bank. They can tell you for certain.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Giros rarely take longer than 3 days. Could always wait until tomorrow which would have allowed the maximum time that a giro needs to be processed.

Send them a copy as its proof you have paid on the date of your payment plan. If they increase fees dont panic stick to the repayment plan and once its repaid stop paying. They will try to get more but be strong good luck

They are already shut down. Theyre just allowed to operate dependant on the outcome of he appeal. Thats why we keep saying all these illegal threats must be reported.

Dont delete them. Forward them to the OFT. They are accusing you of fraud, and it MUST be reported. Do NOT ignore it.

I have been reading the last few comments made by T/Bell with great interest,as sometime ago,I had a similar going on with Speed Credit, they could not find the money that I had paid them.Even Barclays bank even tried to phone them to say that I had paid, but they could not make contact with them. So,Barclays gave me a computer print out of the transaction. Then I sent a copy to Speed Credit.Guess what,Speed Credit suddenly found the payment.I made the payment on 30/03/12,I received confirmation that they had received it on the same day on 30/04/12.So,it took them 4 weeks to find the money. The bank even told me that the money went into a CIM account.

After several months of emails, texts and threats, which of course I returned in a non polite manner, they sent me an email to say that my loan was closed.

Just to confirm that it is closed, their site which is still active, give the below information when I enter my account details.

I cannot give any further advice, except stick to your guns.

Good news - this loan has been paid off!

Please feel free to apply online for another loan!

Speed Credit - money in minutes!

Regards,JOHN.

Hi,

I hope someone can help me, I see speed credit are no more, it says on the website

'We want to thank all of our loyal customers of the past years.

For additional inquiries regarding loan payments and collection, please contact our client service 084 3381 3381'

The loan I stupidly took out with them is now with Marshall Hoares which I believe is them anyway? Do I need to pay still? Bearing in mind the original loan was £400 and I have already paid over £800 with £400 left to go, I am on a DMP as well, I just want to see where this leaves me, I am not trying to get out of paying, but if they have been shut down do I really need to pay the rest of the inflated fees?

Thanks in advance

Youve been paying those unfair charges. Stop paying and tell the dca to bugger off.

What do I do about the money I owe speed credit. They wouldn't accept we only owe them £210 (our original loan, one month interest minus what is already paid!) and I've been putting the money into my ISA for when they see sense. I havent received any proof that Marshall Hoares legally own the debt so I'm not willing to pay them and then be told that I still owe money further down the line!

I wouldnt worry about speed credit. Theyve been shut down. For now, keep hold of that cash and when they contact you, you can repay the correct amount.

Hi john

Pretty much same thing has happened, i send them proof ive paid in the bank and told them barclays have confirmed the transaction, and after quite a few threatening messages and emails off mh and ndr over a few weeks, and me not backing down, all of a sudden they found my payment.

Just goes to show theyll try anything on
