Hi all Caggs and Site team.

I have started an E-Petition to abolish the Bills of Sales Act.

We need a hundred thousand signatures for it to be presented to parliament for debate.

As we are all aware of the recent action by the OFT against LBL. Licence revoked and company in administration.

LBL lost their licence to trade. Brilliant news. But all this has done is sold the company assets to another company with the same unlawful trading practices as LBL. So we are back to the beginning, cars being removed unlawfully.

Time to change our approach. Get tough and challenge the BIlls of Sale its self. This would totally stop this type of lending.

It has been said often that the government are looking into removing the BOS totally

So please follow the link below and sign the e- petition asking to abolish the Bills of Sale.

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/32065.

Also can a l ask for it to be linked in the next news letter.

If anyone has any suggestions of were this e-petition can be placed for greater viewing please advice we have 12 months to get a hundred thousand signatures on this petition

Hi all, I've signed the petition in relation to this. But I'm a bit confused with regards to LBL and loss of license, as these have now popped up as "Auto Money" and if you look at the company details, it's pretty much the same company running it.

Hi I'm new to this but have signed the petition and read alot of your posts. I dont really know your full story as it sounds like it happened a couple of years ago but I think I am now in a similar sitution. I just wondered if your outcome was successful as looks like I have quite a battle ahead.

Thanks

It's very disappointing that with an issue that affects so many there has not been more response. It's something that we find time and again on CAG.
