  1. Community Loans of America Also owns www.logbookloans.co.uk And the minority lender loans2Go Based in Putney ( SW 15 Putney, rings a bell ? )
  2. ]Come on Folks!! What is the matter with you all?? Just 99,000 more signatures needed to outlaw Payday loans etc. The way forward is just to borrow from our local banks and leave dog **** Wonga to go bust.
  3. Hi I would imagine you stand wishing you had paid the first payments. After that you left your vehicle open to collection and the lender left with no choice, whether or not the first missed payments were "unfortunate"
  4. OFT Approves Logbook Loans Approved by OFT, new licence approved by OFT , nice new friendly (??) US backed licence will be in place as from 1st July 2012, same premises, same staff, same modus operandi, same toothless regulator, same outcome. OFT Useless
  5. caz Shocking tale of infidelity. Presumably you have got this paid as you indicate above and got your car back all in one piece now STJ
  6. The garage that I purchased the vehicle from have gone bankrupt so I have no way to take any action against them for selling me the vehicle. Spider - this is the crux. "Hip hop" is talking impractical and ill informed rubbish as usual. Get some proper advice from Trading Standards, much better than ill-informed online nonsense
  7. Finally some words of wisdom. You will not succeed with an invalid BOS application. These posts are stock full of sometimes well intended but misleading guidance and false hope based on minimal knowledge. My advice - go to Consumer Credit Counselling service, CAB, and get the facts rather than the online fiction.
  8. Finally some words of "Site Team" wisdom These posts are stock full of sometimes well intended but misleading guidance and false hope based on minimal knowledge. My advice - go to Consumer Credit Counselling service, CAB, and get the facts rather than the online fiction.
  9. Ho,Ho,Ho Oh no you're not I would have thought the lack of an APR should be obvious, even to you with your blinkers on? Anyway, touche with the panto.. there will be no more informed help/knowledge/unbiased opinion from me STJ signing off for 2009
  10. Trooper I interpret that as I have previouly posted and which I believe is the correct, factual interpretation that can be relied on by parties in court and stated in plain language: The definition of a credible witness in this case is that he/she is not party to the agreeemnt. The parties to the agreement are lender and borrower, therefore witness (employee) would not be party unless he/she should happen to also be an owner (shareholder) of the lending business. I believe the issue of commissions earned is of no relevance. Credible does not have the same meaning as independent. Hope this is clear STJ
  11. Leetut Much misleading advice on posts relating to witness The format you quote will not render the BOS void STJ
  12. Speak to Royal Courts of Justice, Queens Bench Division. Based on The Strand This section handles Bill of Sale registration. The bill was clearly stamped / registered late, however this can be achieved by the funder by making a special application. RCJ will be able to confirm this for you either way and this is the crucial point of your case, ie whether you have one or not in terms of the Bill.
  13. You may indeed But the relevance is lost on me. I seek only pratical advice useful in the real world to lay-people. My point is merely meant to be helpful in that reliance on the "third party, non -commission earning" witness is not good advice. Even worse is reference to Bill, Ben & Weed, which thankfully you did not bring up.
  14. Ukd Another conniption. "damage someone's defence" ?? What are you raving about now - once again you rail against me and remain worryingly fixated on the R-word. John Ma is trying to negotiate a short settlement, I would think in this particular instance he should start the process by 'phone, not least because his posts are lucid and sensible. What should he write? Dear Mr Heap, I would like to settle my sister's loan but you seem to charge rather a lot of interest.... Hopefully JMa will update on progress. STJ
