Hi all,.. I know this has been asked lots of time before but I cannot find the answer I am looking for in any of the old threads,. I know RBS and Nat West are pretty easy to get an account from with a few defaults on your file but living in norther ireland these accounts are not available to me.. Our local bank (Ulsterbank) which is owned by RBS/Nat does not seem to cater for the below average credit scored people needing to open a business account,

Can anyone tell me if there are any plans for Ulster Bank to go down the route of its parent bank and offer a foundation account for business users,. TBH this would be my Bank of choice as My personal account is with them and Out of the lot I have heve been in my time I prefair most.. I am also open to suggestions of other banks (Available to me in NI) who would be willing to offer me a business current account with bad credit history..

Lastly I do not need any credit facilities etc,. just a basic business account with a debit card that I can pay cheques wrote to my business into

Thanks in advance

I, too, am desperately seeking an answer to this question.

I applied for personal current account with Co-Op and got rejected. Phoned today and they have deferred me for Cashminder but girl on phone seemed to think that was because it was Saturday, she said she had never had anyone rejected.

On Friday I posted application for Co-Op business account but after being rejected for personal account today, I am thinking same thing will happen with business account
