my bank messed up a transfer to a building society which resulted in the money going missing for 2 weeks

they have admitted guilt and offered £35 to cover my 4 hours of phone calls and worry.

this doesnt seem very generous - I seem to remember an hourly cost the courts willl accept of £15

am I correct ?

thanks .. Mike

Mike

theres a thread title something like 'can we charge the banks for our letters'

theres some useful info in there that indicates i think 9.25 per hour for litigants in person and 6.26 per letter from memory.

I suggest you have a look and satisfy yourself as to the issues.
