Offered a job while bankrupt

I applied for bankruptcy and was declared bankrupt in april after i lost my job and my house was reposessed, I owe approximately 40k. I had been unemployed for 2 years and could not afford my mortgage or keep up on my loan re-payments. As I had returned to college, I was advised that bankrupcy would be the best option for me, however I have now been offered a job on the rigs. At present I am living in my partners parents house and my partner is in receipt of tax credits. I do not know whether to accept the job as I do not know how much I will have to pay each month and how it will affect my families income. Is it possible to convert a bankruptcy into a trust deed and would this help?

No you can't convert to a trust deed. You would pay what you could afford either way.

Work out a statement of affairs on your proposed income using the calculator on national debt line or get local cab to help.

It's only what you can afford that they will ask you for
