I am going to go to the job centre today with my letter stating that I revoke my waiver and get a receipt for it. Would I also have to send a copy of the letter direct to W2W? As they already have my waiver in their clutches, Im also wary that JCP may not update/communicate this new info to W2W?

Once you sign off, you need have no further contact with the pimp .... however, it is entirely at your discretion whether you communicate your education destination to the W2W pimp. Notwithstanding that your only agreement is with Job Centre Plus, which terminates as soon as the Job Seekers Agreement becomes null and void, the Service Level Agreement between Job Centre Plus and the W2W Pimp is 2 years, you may care to report to them that you have signed off because you commenced a full time programme of training, or ask Job Centre Plus to inform them on your behalf.

Just returned from Scientiam office Preston to be told they will no longert the sub for Ingeus as of the end of August. Looks like the venture wasn't as profitable as they initially thought.

Hi Helly - are you sure you're actually banned?

Site seems to regularly deny everyone the chance to post - I think because they rely upon one of their over zealous moderators being on duty. When no one available they simply just close the site to new comments.

I am suffering the same fate, I am a mother being harrassed by Ingeus, I posted my story on here a couple of days ago, got some great advice, all of which I have used, with glee I might add.

I found out yesterday I have indeed been treated to my first ever sanctionon my JSA, under the guise of a missed appointment with them in mid June I wasn't even aware of, and which took the dole a month to tell me about Id missed, and nothing whatsoever from Ingeus! I think its happened cos they frequently reschedule appointments, so its not unusual to receive a letter from them with a different date on. Or I have just totally forgot about apointment, because a month had passed and I had been into Ingeus for 2 appointments since the supposed missed one, I really cant defend myself as i cant remember, Could kick myself!

I would also email your advisor at the beginning of each week to double check if you are scheduled in for any appointments that week, do this religiously. I adopt a business tone with them and they treat me in the same manner.

Thanks Helly13, I have never been given my advisors email address, so I dont know if this would work, the preferred method by them is usually via phone or letter. Even a text would be good. I will ask at my next appointment though. I have a complaint pending and have asked for a change of advisor anyway, so maybe it will be an option with new one. I am getting a good idea of how WP works, people are that desperate to escape them, and get back some control over their lives that they will take just about any job! Maybe their results are based on this misery of the poor working class, forced to lower their standards untill they got nowhere else to go, who needs aspirations! Who deserves decent instead of 'survivable', I think the WP takes a 2 pronged approach, a psycological one to knock down your confidence so you really begin to believe your not worthy of anything better, and also a financial punishment one incase the message doesnt get through enough with the bullying. Couple this with Minimum wage employers lining up to take advantage of enforced free labour and its the recipe for success for the big boys, all backed up with a nice fat cheque from Mr.C. I have defo learnt alot this week! starting to rant, away to get some smart price coffee, as us poor people are expected to do, or should that be lager, it is however past 10 clock, therefore acceptable in 'our circles'?!!!

What I'd do is politely point out to the DWP you were unaware when you started of the amount of fraud and lies been peddled by the WP providers. Tell them you were unaware of the importance to document everything yourself and point out too that when playing the WP's game of 'fraud, scissor, paper and stone' that your 'no evidence' shouldn't be beaten by 'potentially bullpoop lies' (generally the most common outcome from the WP side).

 

I played them once. The DWP didnt ask to see the evidence due to WP been clearly bullpoop liars. Though i'd certainly keep a record of everything. As someone said above: keeping in regular email contact with them will pretty much do that for you.

The DWP have no integrity and are bedfellows with the WP. The are bigger schemes behind the scenes and a drive to destroy the minimum wage, and increase the poverty trap. Remember Conservatives want to take up back to dickensian days, doff the cap at the aristocracy and the better classes.

Tacit approval of the Poverty Trap was evidenced with Labour when Gordon "Mr Casino Banker" Brown offered a State backed subsidy to employers who were not prepared to pay a fecent wage - specifically via Working Tax Credit, so if a candidate was working full time but earning less than £15K, they could claim. I haven't claimed myself, since I never wished to be complicit in deceit.

I think from what you have said Helly, I must draw the conclusion that the DWP are really infact using the Pimps to do their dirty work for them (Gov could not be seen to be treating people this way directly)and then they are covered in the future when all this fraud & tactics come out. They can then feign shock horror 'What..... OMG - we had no idea these poor people were treat so badly at the hand of WP' The added bonus being the WP will take all the flack and bad publicity and they can plead ignorance with just enough of a little bit of admission of bad judgement on their part, before its buried in the shadows of the fail tray. If only we could all get away with using underhand tactics....

Some of us that constantly post awkward replies and threads on the Indus Delta site were accused of ruining it, what has basically happened is that the pimps who are used to a captive audience that cannot answer back effectively because of the fear of sanction, are frustrated with the refuseniks so the toy's start getting thrown out of the pram, all they can do is scream for the moderator to censor our posts.

 

Faced with real debate and argument they fold, and are reduced to accusations of 'negativity' their philosophy and methodology is based on lies and deceit, it's all smoke and mirrors, and like most bullies they back down when confronted by people who are not frightened of them. They know full well that they are trying to sell snake oil.

 

If we have brought the ID site down, it's because it was built on a rocky house of cards in the first place. TBH I enjoy winding them up, but if it's the end of ID, I for one won't be shedding any tears.

I've just had my first appointment since February.

 

I got to the bottom of the fraud letter that was sent to me. I'm assured it was an 'administrative error' (a bit like those cheques that wrote themselves), and despite the wording indicating otherwise, I do not have any obligation to provide the data they demanded.

 

I politely requested they send me no more fraud emails or fraud letters and they've agreed.

Well the ID site now seems to operate a policy of censoring every post that comes from a known critic of the Work Programme. Posts made (no matter how reasonable) are simply not passed for publication. YES! Exactly! Which is why sanctions are being used more and more, the government can hardly stop people from signing on but, what they can do is ensure that a significant rolling percentage are sanctioned off benefit, thus keeping the ever increasing benefit bill down. The only long term problem I see with this is the payments to providers, HM Gov. will have to alter the goal posts to with regard to their contracts to prevent the system bankrupting itself.

they will certainly have to alter the goalposts, as the providers are failing badly....giving vast amounts of money to private companies to 'find' jobs, was a failed experiment under labour, why they think this is going to be the panacea for unemployment is beyond me...the system is creaking at the seams now...as more and more people are going to be chucked onto their books, the figures are going to look worse and worse, especially now IDS has declared that the sick, should be given to them as well...never mind I can press a button and lift an empty cardboard box...hey I too could be an employment success!!
