Having successfully recovered my unlawful charges from Lloyds TSB, I am now tackling my sons bank on his behalf. It makes me smile to encounter the tactics of a different bank and just goes to show how important it is to read as much here as you can.

HSBC did not respond to the pal but 12 days after sending the lba including a schedule of charges they are disregarding the second letter and responding to the first now by requesting a schedule of charges so that they can investigate the matter. They just dont listen do they. When we say they have 14 days to repay in full thats what we mean - THEIR DELAYING TACTICS ARE SO WELL KNOWN NOW THAT THEIR CONTINUED USE OF THEM BEGGERS BELIEF! Oh well HSBC get ready cos moneyclaim will be filed tomorrow - YOU WERE WARNED!

25th July Data Protection SAR sent

15th August - Pal sent

30th August - letter before action sent, (inc schedule of charges)

12th September - letter received requesting schedule of charges
